High Context is a global community for comms professionals, built around one simple idea: growth happens faster together. We bring people together to share ideas, open doors for each other, and make the comms world feel a little kinder.
Experienced communications professionals spend their days giving perspective to everyone else. High Context is where you get it back: from peers who understand the profession, and over time, your context.

Strategic Communications
“The further I’ve gone in this profession, the more convinced I am that the people around you matter enormously. The ones who share the shortcut, make the introduction, tell you the truth kindly and cheer when something works out for you. I want High Context to be full of people like that.”
Ruxandra-Laura Bosilca, Ph.D., SCMP® is a global communication leader who helps mission-driven organizations communicate with clarity, confidence, and credibility. For more than 13 years, she has advised EU institutions, international nonprofits, and research organizations across five countries on communication strategy, brand building, and reputation management.
At IABC EMENA, Ruxandra leads the Sponsorships and Partnerships portfolio, building strategic relationships that strengthen the region’s growth, visibility, and impact. Before that, she led IABC’s Belgium community, growing a network of 120+ communication professionals and creating opportunities for industry dialogue, peer learning, and career development. Ruxandra also serves on the Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC) Board, shaping global certification standards and advancing professional excellence in communication.

Brand & Communications Leadership
“Some of the best decisions in my career started with a message to someone I trusted: ‘Can I run something by you?’ High Context is, in many ways, an attempt to make that kind of conversation easier to find — and easier to have.”
Olha Boiko is a communications and employer branding leader with more than a decade of international experience across corporate communications, public relations, marketing and employee experience. She grew from PR Manager to Senior Vice President in a global tech company, while also building a consulting practice advising large-cap enterprises on employer brand strategy, reputation and engagement. Her work has received recognition, including the Davos Digital PR Awards’ Leader of the Future and Employer Brand Leader of the Year.
Olha has judged the Employer Brand Management Awards, Recruitment Marketing Awards, IABC Gold Quill Awards and Transform Awards Europe. A CIPR-qualified professional and Oxford Saïd Corporate Affairs Academy alumna, she serves as Communications Director for IABC EMENA and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at the University of York.

PR Strategy & International Growth
“Comms people are usually the ones everyone comes to for an answer. But we need somewhere to bring our own questions too — including the messy ones, the unfinished ones and the ones we’re not ready to ask at work. That’s the kind of room I want High Context to be.”
Oleksandra Korotkova is a London-based creative communications, PR and brand consultant with 12+ years of experience across very different worlds: venture and technology, EdTech, energy, advertising and creative industries. She has built a PR function from scratch, worked with hundreds of journalists, trained corporate spokespeople and led reputation work across global markets.
But a big part of Sandra’s work has also been about helping other people become stronger communicators: she has taught PR, mentored startups and communications professionals, and is repeatedly described by people she has advised as practical, generous and genuinely invested in their progress. That mix of international PR experience, startup pace and hands-on mentoring is what she brings to High Context — especially for people figuring out how to grow, move markets, change direction or make their experience travel further.

FAQ
High Context is for experienced communications people — across corporate communications, PR, employer branding, internal communications and related disciplines.
Most people here are already established in their work. Some are leading teams, stepping into bigger roles or working across markets. Others are consulting, going fractional, considering a move or simply trying to make better decisions in the role they already have.
You do not need to be job hunting to belong here.
Because having a large network and having the right people around a specific question are two different things.
High Context is being built so you do not have to explain your career, your company, your ambitions and the politics around a situation from scratch every time you need a second opinion.
Over time, the people around you know more of the backstory. That makes the advice better — and makes it easier to ask the questions you would never put on LinkedIn.
High Context Open is what you can be part of now: selected events, conversations, High Context Voices, updates and public content. It will continue after Membership launches.
Some parts of Open are still curated. We review requests to join the WhatsApp group, and some events may have limited places, so we can keep the people in the room relevant to experienced communications professionals.
Membership, opening in March 2027, is the smaller paid layer. It adds Career Boards, Private Ask, Context Profiles, curated introductions, member-only rooms and the continuity that comes from people knowing more about you over time.
Circle will be where Membership lives. Circle itself is not the point — what matters is what becomes possible once the same people keep showing up with more context.
High Context Voices is coming soon. It’s where we publish ideas, experiences and perspectives from people working in communications. It’s public and free for anyone to read.
When Membership opens, members will be able to pitch their own ideas for Voices. We may also invite non-members to contribute when they have a perspective we genuinely want to share.
Because relevance drops quickly when a professional community becomes a very large directory of strangers.
Membership will be curated around fit, professional experience and what people can both contribute and get from the room. The aim is not to collect as many profiles as possible. It is to make it more likely that when you need perspective, an introduction or a useful conversation, there is someone there who understands the situation.
We will explain the application process before Membership opens.
A Career Board is a small, recurring group of peers who get to know each other’s work, ambitions and current challenges over time.
Think 6–8 people rather than a big networking group.
You might bring a promotion conversation, a difficult leadership situation, an interview, a move into a new market, a question about going fractional, or simply something at work that you need to think through with people outside your company.
The value is that by the third or fourth conversation, you are no longer starting with the backstory.
That is what Private Ask is for.
You can bring a sensitive question to High Context without having it posted publicly under your name. The High Context team will know who submitted it, but the question can be shared anonymously with the relevant group.
Before anything is shared, you will see and approve the final wording.
This is for the situations where the useful question is also the one you are least likely to ask in a public professional space.
You do not need another directory and a message saying, “You two should connect.”
If there is someone in the network who could genuinely be useful — because of their experience, market, role, company background or something you are working through — High Context can help connect the dots.
We ask first. We explain why the introduction makes sense. And we do not turn member information into a recruiter or sales prospecting list.
It is not a recruitment service or a traditional job board.
But career opportunities can come through the network: relevant roles, projects, referrals, introductions, visibility through High Context Voices and people knowing what you are good at and what you may want next.
The bigger idea is to build career options before you urgently need one.
That's great!
High Context is not designed only for moments when something has gone wrong or when you want to leave.
It can be useful when you are preparing for your first board presentation, managing a bigger remit, hiring a team, negotiating scope, dealing with a difficult stakeholder, entering a new market or wondering what the next few years of your career should look like.
Some of the most useful career work happens before you need to make a move.
Some questions need more than a conversation.
High Context may run shorter, focused formats around things such as changing role or market, preparing for a specific career moment, seeing how another communications team actually works, or spending more time together in a retreat or gathering.
These sit separately from Membership and may be priced separately. Members may receive priority or a different rate for selected experiences.
Right now, the open High Context community mainly lives through our WhatsApp group, events, High Context Voices, email updates and public channels.
Requests to join the WhatsApp group are reviewed before people are added, so we can keep the group relevant to experienced communications professionals.
When Membership opens in March 2027, the private member experience will live on Circle. That is where members will have Career Boards, Private Ask, Context Profiles, member-only rooms and ongoing conversations that build context over time.
Selected online and in-person events will continue alongside both.
Yes. High Context Membership is designed to be easy for employers to support.
It gives experienced communicators access to external peer perspective, practical examples from other organisations and a trusted place to test difficult decisions — making it a natural fit for professional development or learning budgets. We’ll make company-funded Membership and reimbursement straightforward.
Join High Context
High Context brings comms folks together around the things that rarely fit into a LinkedIn post: the tricky career call, the role you’re growing into, the question you want a second opinion on, or simply the people you should probably know.
We meet online and in person, share what’s actually useful and connect practitioners across Berlin, London, Brussels and beyond.
